Your child can learn about our solar system, planets and paint while having fun! Follow these simple steps to make your very own Solar System Mobile.

Materials Needed:

• 1 wire hanger or a circular object for the base of the mobile
• 8 small Styrofoam balls
• 2 medium Styrofoam balls
• 1 large Styrofoam ball
• Different colors of acrylic paint
• Paint brushes
• Fishing line or string
• Scissors

Steps:

1. Painting the Planets: Use the acrylic paint to paint the styrofoam balls like the planets in our solar system. The large ball will be the sun, the medium balls will be Jupiter and Saturn, and the small balls will be the rest of the planets.
